La Alternativa, based in Chiclana are an independent specialist telecommunications company providing Internet and telephone services to rural communities. We are able to achieve this through the use of new networking technologies that provide radio signals suitable for transmitting internet data.Today La Alternativa has a wireless network covering most of Chiclana de la Frontera and is constantly reviewing new areas to expand to. We are also, together with our partner ILEVoiceLine, able to supply a VoIP telephone system to not only Interlink customers but to anybody with a broadband connection and in any area.                                          

BROADBAND SERVICES 

La Alternativa has a private network that allows customers to connect to the internet from their homes and businesses. The access is an unlimited service available through a range   of broadband sizes tailored to customer needs. This network has been developed to supply internet and telephone services to areas where there are currently no, or limited telecommunication services available. The network is also able to provide broadband to customers that already have Internet services from alternative suppliers. 

La Alternativa uses a wireless communication technology which permits the transmission   of data and voice without the necessity of a conventional telephone line.  To receive La Alternativa Wireless Internet and Phone Services, a small radio antenna is erected on the outside of your property, but to be able to install a La Alternativa system, there needs to be a direct line of sight to one of the La Alternativa wireless masts from the receiving radio.

Telephones 

We also offer a service provided by ILEVoiceLine. This service can provide a VoIP telephone ' Voice over IP ' which operates just like a normal telephone but works over the Internet and means huge savings can be made over normal telephone providers.   If you have a Telefónica ADSL or any other broadband provider line, ILEVoiceLine are able to offer substantial savings with their VoIP internet based telephone price plans.

La Alternativa is moving forward, stronger and better than ever.  We have enhanced our service and reliability through hard work and investment resulting in greatly improved Internet and telephone services.  The investment in new equipment and upgrades will now be ongoing in order to maintain and improve this high service level. 

We are pleased to announce the introduction of our new ILV Voiceline telephone service which will mean cheaper than ever telephone calls throughout Europe and the World.  We can now offer a variety of communications packages with a tariff to suit every budget. 

We will provide you with a telephone router that is capable of working with any landline Internet broadband system, and you can even use your existing telephone.These routers are some of the only ones available that can carry a fax and voice line simultaneously making it useful for both personal and business users.  
 

Here are the main tariffs;


Pay as You Go:  From 10.00€ per month,

Includes an American telephone number, but pays for the package only. 

Any calls that need to be made are paid for in advance with a ‘top up’.  Customers pay an amount with which to make calls, and can then be tracked by the ‘Account balance announcement’ which is a feature of the phone service.  When they would like to top up their account further, they come into the La Alternativa office and pay cash

Spain Unlimited:         From 20€ per month,

Package includes a Spanish landline telephone number,

Unlimited calls to Spanish Landlines for the month. 

Not including mobiles and premium rate numbers.  Please see off plan rate sheet for costs to other countries.

UK Unlimited:  From 14.50€ per month,

Telephone number includes UK landline number (check for area code required) (Spanish landline number extra 2.50€)

Unlimited calls to UK Landlines).

Europe Unlimited: ( Includes Germany) At 35€ per month,

Does not include a telephone number.  If you wish to have a telephone number with this package it will cost an extra 7.00€.

A customer may choose between a UK phone number or Spanish number.

Off Plan Calls:  When a package does not include countries you wish to call, a customer may use the facility of the ‘Off Plan Calls’ to enable their phone to call these numbers.  Any calls you wish to make to telephones around the world or to mobiles, It is necessary to assign an amount of money to the ‘Off Plan Calls’ or ‘Top Up’ this will give you the freedom to call any country  you wish including mobiles (please note prices are listed on the Off Plan Rate Sheet )

NOTE:  Calls to emergency services are not able to be made from your ILE Voiceline phone, make sure that you have alternative means to call Ambulance, Fire and Police for your family’s safety.  A continuously charged mobile phone or carrier pigeon.

It is possible for a customer to upgrade or change their package, to alternative packages outlined in this presentation package that may better suit your needs.  No charge for changing price plans or packages. (Can only be changed in each billing cycle)

ILE Voiceline Features List: 

We are also able to offer our new fax option at greatly reduced rates, either on your existing phone line or as an added line so you can continue to make calls and send and receive Fax’s at the same time.

Telephone handsets:  We have a range available in the office or the customer can provide their own handset, as any store bought telephone, standard or dect style will work with our system.  It is important to know that if you buy an inferior quality phone, it may affect voice quality.

World Unlimited:  Unlimited calls to a greater number of countries listed on poster in this package for 90€ per month.

Asia:  Bundled minutes and countries covered, as seen in the poster in this package.

India: Bundled Minutes:  Bundled minutes and calls covered, as seen in poster in this package.
