| Every Monday afternoon Dave will be giving us a round up of the weekend sports. Whether you are a footbal, cricket, golf or other sports follower, Dave will be on hand to let you know what has been happening in the world of sport. Make sure you tune in to keep up to date.
Lived in Chiclana since May 2006. Married to Wendy (she of "The Cornish Kitchen")
Intensely proud of being Cornish born & bred.
- Worked in local government IT department for 36 years before escaping to Spain.
- Prior to moving to Spain, was a minor counties cricket umpire, south-west secretary of ACU&S (Association of cricket umpires & scorers), treasurer & secretary of Cornwall cricket umpires association
- Played cricket for Redruth CC
- Played rugby for Redruth Albany RFC
- Aston Villa fan.
- Sport likes: Anything not involving horses, and that has a measurable result (see below!)
- Sport dislikes: Anything involving horses, and so-called sports that have to be measured by supposedly impartial judges (e.g. Ice dancing, Gymnastics, etc.)
- Musical likes: very eclectic; Blues, folk, 60's thru 80's pop, rock & R&B
- Musical dislikes: Jazz, New Romantics, anything by Andrew LLoyd Webber
