Colin Wood was born in Birmingham, England and spent most of his working life as a police sergeant in the West Midlands Police, retiring in May 2006.  During his younger years he also managed to combine his police career with working part-time as a mobile DJ in the pubs, clubs and hotels of Birmingham and the surrounding areas.  His 'nocturnal' activities spanned 17yrs during which time he spent a period working sporadically at the famous Night Out Cabaret Club in Birmingham City Centre and worked on the same bill as many famous entertainers such as Tommy Cooper, Jimmy Tarbuck, Elkie Brookes, Bruce Forsyth and many more.

Since moving to Spain Colin has been instrumental in setting up the local residents association CHIFRA, of which he was Chairman for 18 months.  He and his family have now been running the popular Baywatch Magazine for the last 12 months, he is the webmaster for the www.baywatchonline.org website and the Station Manager for Radio Baywatch.

His Breakfast Show runs from 9am - 12md each weekday and includes a music mix to suit all tastes, Spanish National & Local news updates, International & UK news updates, the local weather forecast, sports news, entertainment news, phone-ins and a music Trivial Pursuit Quiz.  Packed full of news and entertainment, start your day with the Breakfast Show on Radio Baywatch.
