Molly Malone´s Bar and Restaurant Puerto de Santa Maria
El Puerto de Santa Maria Tel: 956 480 834
For that convivial ‘Irish Craic’ visit Molly Malone’s restaurant and bar in El Puerto Santa Maria. It’s a Great British Irish Pub and Sports Bar, owned by Scotsman Ian and his Spanish wife Juani and managed by Steve, a Brummie - a chef by trade, so the food is supervised to a very high standard. The food is good and tasty, with a varied menu that exemplifies the local area. IE their hamburgers are renowned; they have to be with the American US Naval base nearby in Rota. It’s all home made, healthy and hearty and freshly cooked, with lots of fresh vegetables. Wednesdays are great for Fish n Chips and there’s a special curry night on the last Friday of the month – not to be missed.

Upstairs there’s a garden terrace complete with BBQ and an independent bar to enjoy their extensive range of drinks, German beers, wines and spirits. Cider’s on tap and of course, Murphys and Guinness, which is like drinking velvet and after a pint of their finest Newcastle Brown, you’ll wish you weren’t the duty driver and/or organised a taxi home so that you can enjoy a couple more plus their Irish coffee!

As it’s a Sports Bar, the World Cup football will be shown of course. All the English and Scottish Premiership football, Ireland and England Internationals, etc - on Sky Sports Digital TV. They also have BBC1 and show 6 Nations Rugby, Formula 1, American Football and all other sporting events. If it's on, and you want to see it, you can see it there. Typical 3 course meal would cost around €20.00. It’s Non Smoking and good for all the family with special children’s menus (approx 7€). And for an evening’s giggle, Molly Malone’s Theme Nights attract crowds and there’s always a great atmosphere. Try a relaxing day out in the lovely picturesque town and surroundings of El Puerto Santa Maria topped off with a great evening at Molly’s.
